38,000-home provider aiming to simplify its governance
Jigsaw Homes Group’s target date for consolidating its four entities into one registered provider has been pushed back a year.
The 38,000-home association is looking to collapse its group structure, which it has previously described as a “strategic move aims to simplify the group’s structure.” It originally said it was aiming to complete the consolidation by March 2027, but has said this is now being targeted by March2028.
The four Jigsaw-linked providers currently registered with the Regulator of Social Housing are Jigsaw Homes Group Limited, Jigsaw Homes North (formerly Adactus Housing Association Limited), Jigsaw Homes Tameside (formerly New Charter Homes), and Jigsaw Homes Midlands (formerly Gedling Homes)
In its latest financial statement Jigsaw narrowly missed its five-year development target.
The year ended 31 March 2026 was the final year of its 2021-2026 development strategy, during which it aimed to build 4,000 new social homes.
