Group now has agreed loan portfolio worth more than £1.3bn
Housing Plus Group has secured £961m from five banks to invest in existing and new homes.

The provider agreed funding deals with Nationwide, NatWest, Santander, AIB and Barclays.
The new arrangements build on £806m of existing facilities and the group now has an agreed loan portfolio of more than £1.3bn.
“This is an important milestone for our Group and gives us a strong foundation for the future,” said interim CFO Richard Nowell, whose appointment was announced at the end of June.
“This is a transformative moment for Housing Plus Group. Not only have we built on the strong foundations with existing funders, but we have also developed new relationships as part of this work.
“It helps us realise core pillars of our corporate strategy – to improve the group’s financial resilience and capacity, and to fund doing more for our customers. Crucially, we have simplified and restructured the funding picture for the Group, removing risk and allowing space for future growth.”
Housing Plus was supported by Savills in the process.
The group, which operates 34,000 homes across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Telford & Wrekin, merged with Wrekin Housing at the beginning of 2025.
