Richard Nowell to replace Suzanne Forster until permanent successor appointed

Richard Nowell will become interim chief financial officer at Housing Plus Group when incumbent CFO Suzanne Forster leaves the organisation in November 2026 after a period of extended leave.

The 33,000-home West Midlands landlord said Forster, who joined last year, has “added significant value to the organisation” following the January 2025 merger between Wrekin Housing Group and Housing Plus Group.

Nowell, Housing Plus Group’s current director of treasury and risk will take on the role until the end of the year while recruitment for a permanent CFO is underway.

Housing Plus Group is headquartered in Acton Gate, Staffordshire and operates across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Telford and Wrekin.
