List celebrates those who are going above and beyond in their day-to-day roles to improve services for residents
After a hugely positive response to last year’s list of housing professionals who are going above and beyond to improve services for residents, we are consulting the sector once more to select our 2026 cohort.

Our Top 30 Housing Champions list highlights and celebrates just some of the many individuals who are doing exceptional work in the housing sector.

Top 30 Housing Champions is part of Housing Today’s Every Person Counts campaign, which shares insights into workforce issues across the whole of the housing sector.
The campaign aims to provide a place where debates about skills, employment, regulatory compliance, equality diversity and inclusivity and workplace culture can play out and solutions shared.
If you want to nominate yourself or someone who is having a big impact through their work in housing, please complete the following application form: >> Housing Champions 2026 application
Whether it is helping residents manage their finances, keeping customers safe, helping people with particular needs or providing skills and training, social housing professionals drive a huge amount of social value.
To be considered for the list the nominee needs to answer a simple Q&A. Please note organisations can submit more than one nomination for consideration but we will only admit one staff member per organisation to the final published list.
Housing Today’s editorial team will select the final names by taking into account people’s standout achievements at work and in the wider sector, as well as looking for representation of the wide range of roles and disciplines.
Our call for entries closes on 8 May. Successful applicants will appear in Housing Today’s coverage later in the year and they will all be invited to our editorial focus groups to inform coverage of sector issues.
If you have any further questions about the application process, you can email alex.funk@assemblemediagroup.co.uk.
