Chris Hopkins promoted to role left vacant by Helen Meehan’s move to CEO

Home Group has promoted Chris Hopkins to the role of chief financial officer.

Hopkins has taken up the role at the 58,000-home provider with immediate effect. He succeeds Helen Meehan who was promoted to chief executive earlier this month.

Hopkins had been director of finance at Home Group since April 2024, before that he was director of financial planning and analysis. He has worked for the organisation since 2018 having previously worked at PWC.

Meehan said: ““Chris brings a deep understanding of Home Group and the sector to the role and will help build upon our existing strong financial position to ensure we can continue to deliver even more for our customers.”
