The trio of new directors are senior figures from Persimmon, The Hill Group and Bargate 

The Home Builders Federation (HBF) has appointed three senior industry figures to its board.

Dean Finch, chief executive of Persimmon Homes, Greg Hill, deputy chief executive of The Hill Group, and Mark White, managing director of Bargate, will take seats on the board of the trade association. 

The appointments follow the retirement from the board of John Tutte, chairman of Bellway, who is stepping down after ten years of service.

Stewart Baseley, chairman of the HBF, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dean, Greg and Mark to the HBF Board. Each brings extensive experience, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of the sector at both regional and national levels. Their collective expertise will be invaluable as we continue to advocate policies that support sustainable growth, housing delivery, and a fair planning system. 

“At the same time, we extend our sincere thanks to John Tutte for his outstanding contribution to HBF and the wider industry. His leadership and wise counsel have been greatly appreciated and will be missed.”

Finch said: “I am delighted to be joining the HBF board. I look forward to working with Stewart, Neil, and the rest of the board to advocate for the positive and important role our industry has in delivering the government’s priorities and providing the crucial homes our country needs.”
