A scheme being masterminded by the development arm of St John’s College in Oxford has been given planning by the city council.

The Oxford North project has been on the blocks for nearly a decade and involves building nearly 500 homes, along with shops, bars and restaurants as well as public space centred around a so-called innovation district.
