Peter Baffoe takes on new role alongside current duties as charity director and Peabody vice chair
Eastlight Community Homes has selected Peter Baffoe as its new board chair, effective from 1 November 2026.

Baffoe is a social housing resident and has been a resident board member at 104,000-home Peabody since 2018, currently serving as its vice chair. He also previously chaired Peabody’s resident experience committee.
Alongside his housing roles, Baffoe is executive director of faith-based charity South London Mission, chair of governors at Rye Oak Primary School and a trustee of Maudsley Charity, a grant-making organisation for mental health initiatives.
Eastlight Community Homes is a resident-led housing association managing over 12,500 homes across the East of England. It was formed in 2020 through the merger of Colne Housing and Greenfields Community Housing.
