Wirral Waters will consist of 500 build-to-rent homes

Designed by Glenn Howells, it is the biggest single development at the Wirral Waters development which is set to see up to 13,000 new homes constructed along the banks of the Mersey.

The project team includes QS and project managers RPS Group, planning consultants Eden Planning, M&E consultants Crookes Walker Consulting and landscape architects Re-Form.

Ramboll is also on the team as facade consultant, along with engineers Curtins and engineering consultants Jensen Hughes.

Construction is set to start this spring and will take around two and a half years.

It will be next door to Urban Splash and Peel L&P’s joint venture residential scheme, East Float, which is currently under construction and will see 350 homes built when complete.

Peel signed a £130m funding deal with the Pension Insurance Corporation last month,
