Fletcher was previously a director at HQN, where she oversaw responsibility for networks, content and events.

Before that, she was policy director at the National Federation of ALMOs and head of affordable housing at London Councils.

In her new role, Fletcher will oversee CIH’s efforts to shape housing policy and advocate for the sector as well as enhance its external profile.

Rachael Williamson, CIH’s executive director of policy, communications and external affairs for the UK, said: “Fletcher brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will strengthen our ability to represent our members’ voices through our policy and external affairs work and further raise CIH’s profile across the housing sector.”

Williamson had been covering both the ’head-of’ and director roles before Fletcher’s appointment.
