Gillian McLees takes over from Callum Chomczuk
The Chartered Institute of Housing has appointed Gillian McLees as its new national director for Scotland.

McLees will take up post today (5 January) succeeding Callum Chomczuk as he moves to a new role outside of the housing sector.
The new recruit was previously head of direct let operations at Balfour Beatty Investments and is currently a director at lobby organisation More Homes More Quickly and vice board chair at River Clyde Homes.
She led the establishment of the Scottish branch of the Association for Rental Living, which she chaired for two years from 2022 and has held senior executive positions in the build-to-rent and student accommodation sectors.
In her new role, McLees will lead CIH’s member engagement and external affairs programme in Scotland, including helping the sector prepare for and respond to the Scottish parliamentary elections in May.
