Dawn Clark will be promoted to the top job at the end of the month following the retirement of Stephanie Murphy

North-east landlord Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) has announced Dawn Clark as its new chief executive.

Clark, currently housing services director at the 7,500-home provider, will take up the role on 1 October.

She succeeds Stephanie Murphy who is retiring after 8 years as chief executive of CCHA and 12 as boss of predecessor organisation Two Castles.

Clark has served as CHHA’s housing services director since 2019. Before that she spent eight years as regional community projects manager at Your Housing Group.

Clark said: “I’m passionate about ensuring we are delivering services in the right ways to meet the diverse needs of our residents and communities.

“I’m committed to continuing to engage with our valued residents and acting on their feedback, so that we learn how we can continually improve our services for their benefit.”

CCHA manages homes across Cumbria and the North East of England.
