Housebuilder grows turnover by 14.7% and says confidence returning in the capital

Housebuilder Berkeley Group has reported increased pre-tax profit of more than half a billion pounds for the year ending 31 March, despite the impact of the covid pandemic.

The brownfield regeneration specialist posted pre-tax profit of £518.1m in 2020/21, up 2.8% from £503.7m the previous year. The London-focused housebuilder’s total turnover also increased over the same period by 14.7% to £2.2 billion.
