Promotion is latest in a series of leadership changes in the capital
Barratt East London has announced the appointment of a new operations director as the latest change in the housebuilder’s leadership team in the capital.
Danny Masters, who joined the housebuilder in 2002 as an assistant site manager and became project director in 2018, has now been promoted to the leadership role in East London.
The appointment is the latest in a series of promotions and hires in the London region.
In July, Craig Carson stepped up as regional director of Barratt London from his previous role as managing director for West London. He will oversee all the developer’s schemes.
Paul Muldowney took up the role of managing director for West London following Carson’s promotion. He joined the firm from Redrow London, where he was also managing director, following the merger of Barratt Developments and Redrow last year.
The new leadership team will operate under Mark Bailey, London and Southern’s regional managing director at Barratt Redrow.
He said: “Under Craig’s stewardship, the [trio] will work collaboratively to regenerate places, deliver energy-efficient homes and build neighbourhoods that create socio-economic value for London.”
Barratt London is part of Barratt Redrow. This year it announced plans for its ‘Lo-E’ homes, which will deliver home across the capital that are built to exceed Passivhaus standards.
In partnership with Places for London, Transport for London’s property company, it has developed plans for an initial 728 homes at High Barnet and Bollo Lane.
