The Scottish housebuilder celebrated its 50th anniversary this year
Aberdeenshire-based housebuilding and construction firm Bancon Group has posted a 100% increase in pre-tax profits in its latest financial accounts.
Turnover across the group increased by 13% to £110.7m (up from £97.7million in 2024), with pre-tax profit doubling from £1.3m last year to £2.6m in its latest accounts.
Accounts for the year to 31 March 2025 show Bancon delivered 338 private and affordable homes.

Andrew Tweedie, chief financial officer, said: “It is extremely satisfying to be able to report a significant uplift in profits in the year to March 2025. These accounts build on the strong results we achieved last year, despite the range of pressures being faced by the industry.”
Founded as Banchory in 1975, Bancon celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. It employs 250 people across Bancon Homes, Bancon Construction and Deeside Timberframe.
