Christopher Kemball has been replaced in the interim by Elizabeth Froude
The chair of Anchor’s board has retired.

Christopher Kemball, who has been on the board of the 55,000-home provider since 2019, steps down from his position today (Friday).
He has been replaced in the interim by Elizabeth Froude, currently chief executive at Sage Homes, who will temporarily serve as chair in advance of the recruitment process for a permanent appointee.
Froude joined the Anchor board in September 2023 and has been involved in the sector for more than two decades, including a stint as group chief executive of Platform Housing Group.
Last month, Anchor published its latest financial accounts, which revealed a deficit of £43.1m after being hit by on-off costs of £50.5m.
