Jon Cook joined housebuilder last October from Places for People

Allison Homes’ group managing director has left the housebuilder to “pursue other opportunities”.

Jon Cook has left Allison Homes after a year as group managing director 

Jon Cook joined Allison Homes in October 2024. He was previously chief executive officer for developments at Places for People and managing director at developer Crest Nicholson.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “During his time with the company, Jon made valuable contributions to improving processes, reducing costs, and supporting the delivery of our growth strategy.”

In the interim, John Anderson, group chief executive officer, has taken on Cook’s responsibilities with support from the senior leadership team.

Allison Homes is based in Peterborough and operates across the east of England, the East Midlands and the South West.

It reported a turnover of £97.67m for the year ending September 30 2024.
