New chair Peter Noble was previously chief executive at a refugee centre
Acis Group has appointed Peter Noble as its new chair.
Noble was previously chief executive of West End Refugee Service and has worked across healthcare, education and social impact.
He is a qualified radiographer with an MBA from the University of Leeds and has managed hospitals in East London and researched infectious diseases in West Africa. He is interim director of strategy at University College Dublin.
Noble said: “I was attracted to Acis Group by how they support people in need. It was amazing to see how they’ve diversified to supporting people in skills and education as well as housing.
“We have our corporate strategy to 2030, and we need to fulfil this and continue the legacy and the vision we’re striving to create.”
Acis Group owns and manages nearly 7,000 homes across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire and the Humber. The landlord also provides education, skills, training and employment services across its communities.
Noble succeeds the housing association’s previous chair, Kath Smart. Greg Bacon is chief executive at Acis Group.
