Cambridgeshire development won’t be ‘just another housing estate’, says scheme’s architect

Outline planning approval is expected to be given to Kennett Garden Village, a development that will see 500 homes built in east Cambridgeshire.

A resolution to grant outline planning was given to the JTP-designed scheme, a community-led initiative by the Kennett Community Land Trust being built on a 40ha site owned by a local farming family.

It was commissioned by Palace Green Homes, an arm’s-length company set up by East Cambridgeshire council.
