New partnership models: We now need to move from ‘optioneering’ to actual delivery of new homes

The last year has seen much discussion about investment partnerships between public and private sector organisations - this should soon translate into new projects, writes Richard Jones

I have said before, and it obvious from the statistics, that last year was a stagnant year for housing development. The government provided a lot of rhetoric about establishing the platform for house building growth which has proved to have had very little effect on increasing the housing numbers.
