Net zero must be ‘compassionate’ to maintain public support

The energy secretary has announced £80m worth of grant funding for social housing.

Speaking at the Conservative Party conference this morning, Claire Coutinho, claimed the cash injection would help lower bills by around £240 per year and support 2,000 jobs.
