Affordable homes provider Square Roots wants to secure £1.5bn of capital to build the homes

London-based affordable homes provider Square Roots aims to secure £1.5bn of capital for 3,500 new affordable homes after being awarded for-profit registered provider status.

The status, awarded by the Regulator for Social Housing, will allow the provider to attract institutional investment to build the homes over the next six years.
