Unions argue Leann Hearne’s post offering pay rises to non-union staff breached the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act

An employment tribunal has refused to strike out claims by 145 Unite and Unison members against Livv over a blog post by its former CEO offering a pay rise to non-union staff during a strike.

On 3 December 2024, Leann Hearne – who stood down last April - wrote on a blog post to all staff members making a 5% pay rise offer to non-union members payable before Christmas.
