Nandy to set out alternative plan for growing economy

The Labour Party will later today outline housing policies as it seeks to take the initiative following last week’s mini-budget from the chancellor.

Lisa Nandy, shadow housing secretary, will this afternoon announce a number of alternative policies to boost growth.

Nandy is expected to announce a plan to reprioritise social housing, and to reform ‘arcane purchasing rules’ to rebalance power between developers and communities”.
