It was that time of year again when hundreds of housing professionals flock to the south coast for the Chartered Institute of Housing’s (CIH) annual Housing Brighton conference.

This year’s event took place as swathes of the country went to polling stations in the local elections, meaning the subject of politics and what the expected gains for Reform UK and the Green Party could mean for the sector were on everybody’s lips.
