1. Why did you choose housing as a career?

Housing chose me. Having started out as an accountant, I was employed by Newbury Racecourse plc as a financial controller. During my 15 years at the company, my role grew to become one where I was managing the racecourse’s operational needs while also leading on development of housing on surplus land as part of a joint venture with David Wilson Homes creating a new community of 1,500 homes with the racecourse at its core.
