Latest RICS survey finds that supply dropped even faster, supporting prices

Demand to buy homes fell for the second consecutive month in February as lockdown measures took their toll on the housing market, according to the latest monthly survey from the RICS.

The survey of estate agents found that a balance of 9% more felt demand had fallen than risen in February, indicating a fall in demand, albeit a much more modest fall than the -40% index figure recorded in January.
