Homes England has signed a deal to lease a former hospital site in Birmingham to Vistry to build a 750-home scheme.

The agreement will see Vistry demolish the former City Hospital site and build 750 homes, including 698 houses and 52 apartments.

Vistry, who was selected as development partner, will develop the homes under a lease agreement to allow Homes England to retain some control over the development, the ownership of the homes will then transfer to the purchaser upon completion. Remaining land will transfer to Vistry at the end of the lease.
