A little while ago we had the political parties’ conference season, which set in train a particularly irritating period for many in the housing sector.

Although the events took place before the general election was announced, there was a high level of expectation that a vote was imminent – so we saw a plethora of policy aired by the respective parties as they jostled to catch the public attention, now brought to life with the publication of manifestos.
