Labour is enacting the biggest change to planning for 30 years – it is essential momentum continues, writes Wayne Douglas

The Labour government has now been in power for more than a year. Keir Starmer was quick out of the gates to throw his support behind the housebuilding industry and promise reform for developers. In doing so, he entered territory that has traditionally belonged to the Conservative Party and claim housebuilding as a Labour ambition.
