Build-to-rent is misunderstood in Westminster but the product can help provide security of tenure and quality, writes Robert Sheldon

In the context of the wider UK housing market, Build to Rent (BTR) has quietly evolved into a key player over the past decade.

However, its substantial growth has not been met with the attention it rightfully commands within central government. Despite its proven success in providing quality accommodation and addressing critical issues within the housing sector, BTR struggles to secure a spot on the priority list in Westminster.
