“Housing is not enough”. Social housing pioneer Father Basil Jellicoe recognised this as he set about clearing the London slums in 1924. He set up what went on to become St Pancras Housing Association (later Origin and now part of PfP) at a time of huge wealth disparity, polarised political opinions and shocking levels of inequality – especially when it came to physical and mental wellbeing.
