Housing associations face tough choices as belts tighten
While there were several plus-points in last week’s autumn statement, associations and their residents are still in for a rough ride over the next two years, writes Paul Hackett
Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt made it abundantly clear that the autumn statement would be a difficult one. This would be a sober rebalancing of the public finances to restore financial stability and market confidence following September’s disastrous mini-Budget.
