Don’t listen to the negativity, much in social housing has improved

According to some commentators, everything was perfect in the social housing sector in the past. This is not true and believing that now is the worst possible time of delivering services risks demotivating people, writes Jamie Ratcliff

For the last few years it seems like there has been a relentless stream of bad news of how badly social landlords are letting down their residents.

If you listen to some commentators this is a new phenomenon. There are plenty of people who will paint you a picture of the not-so-distant past when everything was seemingly perfect.
