Historic England’s High Street Action Zones are hugely beneficial for regeneration, argues Ben Derbyshire

As Michael Gove settles in to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, he faces the challenge of achieving meaningful regeneration of communities, including our High Streets. According to research by Historic England, three-quarters of us care for our high streets as the heart of life in neighbourhoods and towns, but half of us fear for their future.
