Gareth Turpin brings experience of large-scale transformation, says G15 landlord
Clarion Housing Group has appointed experienced telecommunications sector leader Gareth Turpin to its board.

Turpin, who joins the board of the G15 landlord tomorrow (Friday 1), is the managing director of transformation at BT Group. His previous roles include chief commercial officer at Virgin Media O2 and sales director at Telefónica UK. His roles have seen him lead large scale change programmes and has been accountable for complex mergers.
His appointment follows the departure of Amanda Metcalfe, who is stepping down from the Board after the conclusion of her six-year term.
Clarion yesterday reported its annual net surplus before tax and fair value adjustments increased from £76m to £134m in 2025/26.. It put its increase in surplus down to “higher rental income and a stronger disposal surplus, coupled with lower financing costs and a broadly consistent level of operating costs year on year”.
