Airtech states that its mould treatments are backed by a three-year guarantee against recurrence

Condensation and mould specialist Airtech has outlined a suite of services and ventilation products aimed at helping social housing landlords prepare for the introduction of Awaab’s Law, which comes into effect on 27 October 2025.

The company says it can support landlords through property surveys, advice and recommendations, mould removal and redecoration, and a full ventilation installation service. Airtech states that its mould treatments are backed by a three-year guarantee against recurrence. It also offers a datalogging service to help landlords keep records in line with compliance requirements.

According to Airtech, its product portfolio includes the Air+ Loft Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) and Air+ Wall PIV units. These units are designed to remove stale, humid air and replace it with filtered, warmed air from outside. The company says the products are supplied with an energy-efficient preheater and manufactured from recycled plastic, supporting landlords’ environmental targets.

Airtech also offers environment-sensing bathroom and kitchen fans, such as the SensaFan range (SA25 SELV, SA60 SELV and SA64), and its DataFan models (DA25, DA60 and DA64), which log data on humidity and temperature levels in occupied homes. The manufacturer says these systems enable landlords to monitor indoor air quality (IAQ) and assess the impact of ventilation and heating strategies on residents’ living conditions.

Alongside datalogging, Airtech has developed a specialist control platform that automatically modulates fans in response to rising humidity. The company says this provides proportional ventilation to help prevent condensation and maintain IAQ.

Katie Mairs, channel marketing manager at Airtech, said: “With our range of services and ventilation solutions, we aim to help landlords address condensation and mould issues, while supporting compliance with Awaab’s Law.”
